What is your biggest running accomplishment on the concrete?
My first half Marathon was in 2012. I signed up for the Nike Women's SF Half Marathon with my sister in law, Regine and my cousin in law, Ellen. I did not know what to expect, did not know how to train for it, and finished in 3:30. It started my love for Running, I wanted to get better in my Running and in myself. I signed up for the Giants 5k and The U.S. Half the following year in 2013 and my time was 2:45! I had a long time friend from Jr high and High School, Jessica who invited me to join Concrete Runners. I signed up and ran the Giants Race 10k and the Nike Women's SF Half Marathon in 2014 and my time was 2:15! I felt that because I was running with many motivating and influential friends, it has helped me tremendously! This year I ran the Giants 10k, next month is Nike SF Half Marathon, and in December, I will be running my first full marathon in Honolulu!

Why do you run?
I am also a ICU RN that works 12hr nights, a husband, and 2 sons, 8 and 5 yrs old. I run to show them through hard work and discipline, you can accomplish anything you put your mind too. I run for good health, in my line of work, I help save people's lives and I needed to do that for myself.

What inspires you?
My family, my husband, my two sons. My Running Crew inspires me, and motivates me. My mother who has battled Colon and Lung Cancer, and is in remission right now. I have been told I motivate others, and I hold that with the utmost respect.
